How to Calculate Days Between Two Dates
Use the Date Difference tab. Enter any start date and end date β past, present, or future β and click "Calculate Difference." The tool instantly returns the number of days, weeks, months, business days, and weekends between those two dates. You can also choose whether to include the end date in the count.
Example: From January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 = 364 days total, approximately 261 business days, and 104 weekend days.
Adding or Subtracting Days from a Date
The Add / Subtract Days tab lets you enter any date and add or subtract any number of days, weeks, months, or years. You can also choose to skip weekends and calculate only in business days β ideal for project deadlines, payment due dates, contract terms, and court filing deadlines.
Example: If your contract starts March 15, 2026 and has a 90-day delivery window (business days only), the due date falls on approximately July 22, 2026.

Date Difference Formula
The number of days between two dates is calculated as: Days = (Date2 β Date1) / 86,400,000 ms. Business days are computed by iterating through each calendar day and counting only Monday through Friday. For months and years, the tool uses the Gregorian calendar's variable month lengths.
